Jenny Saville

Jenny Saville nació en 1970, es conocida por sus grandes series de óleo basados en una temática formas carnosa, sobretodo de la figura femenina obesa. El trabajo de Saville invoca una representación tan real que parece que puedas llegar a palpar la piel del cuerpo humano, las extremidades, y lo gotresco  combinado con la majestría. 

Jenny Saville  was born in 1970, she is probably best known for her large scale oil paintings of fleshy, obese female figures. Saville’s work invokes a deep fascination in the palpability of flesh, extremities of anatomy, and the grotesque combined with a masterly and yet intuitive instinct for the handling of paint.
