Paris at midnight

Paris was hit by at least two well-trained and- equipped terrorist cells in a coordinated attack on 6 or 7 soft targets on Friday night. The attack that took the most lives, over 120 according to a high French official, was the assault on the audience for a musical performance by the Eagles of Death Metal (not actually a death metal band) at the Bataclan concert hall. Four assailants shot down audience members with machine guns, then when police went in after midnight, three detonated their suicide bomb belts. A fourth was shot dead, but then when he fell, his bomb went off anyway. But the cowards also shot up a Cambodian restaurant and set off bombs outside a soccer stadium 

Without media and journalist we could' have been informed of these horrible attempts, so that's when visual culture comes in. Thanks to all the tv and radio programs other countries can be on guard if another terrorist attack takes place. An sample of that is this video recorded by a security cam

All my heart and thoughts with Paris

El pasado 13 de noviembre París sufrió varios atentados. Los ataques terroristas se llevaron la vida de 120 personas, según fuentes oficiales de Francia.Dichos ataques se produjeron en diferentes sitios pero al mismo tiempo, un ejemplo de esta horrible masacre fue la sala de concierto Bataclan, en la cual cuatro yihadistas asaltaron la sala disparando a todos los miembros de la audiencia. Los terroristas también bombardearon el restaurante Cambodian, colocaron explosivos por fuera del estadio de fútbol.

Sin los medios de comunicación no podríamos estar informados de todos estos horripilantes atentados, por ello la cultura visual está siempre en nuestras vidas. Gracias a los programas de televisión y de radio otros países se pueden mantener en guardia por si se presenta otro ataque yihadista. Aprovechar esta oportunidad para recordar que no hay religiones malas, sino malas personas que se escoden bajo las religiones que eligen. Todo mi corazón y pensamientos con París y las familias de las víctimas
